Handler Box

The current regulation for the handler and dog boxes in the Working and W.P.T. levels state that the piping must be P.V.C. The box must also be firmly affixed to the floor.

With some type of flooring, the taping of the piping may be impractical so a heavier material, such as steel, may be used.

Niveaux Travail et Test Travail d'appitude: le règlement couramment pour la boîte états que la boîte peut être faite en PVC, ruban adhésif, ruban de nylon ou tout autre matériel similaire. La boîte du manieur doit être collée ou fixée au sol afin qu’elle ne bouge pas. .

Avec certains type de sol, ces méthodes peuvent ne pas être possible pour un matériau plus lourd, tels que l'acier, peuvent être utilisées.

We have created a chart in an effort to clarify the judging of the moving sidestep, moving down and Back up 3 steps and also to to help competitors comprehend where their dog should be when performing the side step. . They will be added to the Handbook for 2012, and will also be posted to the Forms page to help competitors

Thanks to the computer programming expertise of Sarah-Jane Petti and the translating skills of Claudio Ferrari, we now have a course design program available for CARO RallyO courses in English & French. It requires Microsoft Powerpoint to run and there are instructions included in the program. For the French version go to the French website on click on Forms to find the link to this program.

Grâce aux talents en programmation informatique de Sarah-Jane Petti et les aptitudes de traducteur de Claudio Ferrari, nous avons maintenant un programme de dessin disponible pour les parcours de Rallye O CARO. Il faut disposer de Microsoft Powerpoint pour l'utiliser et le mode d'emploi est inclus dans le programme. Allez au site en français et cliquez sur Formulaires pour trouver le lien vers ce programme.

CARO Titles

Effective January 1 2011 all CARO titles will be prefixed with the letter C - RN will become CRN and so on. This is to distinguish CARO titles from CKC titles. The handbook will not be changed until a major rewrite is necessary.

Abuse Towards Judges

An officiating judge, and/or the Chairperson of a trial, may dismiss from the trial site any person subjecting the judge or members of the organising committee to abuse, whether that person is competing in the trial or not.

Rule Change

Rule Changes. If you think that a rule needs amending or that a new rule needs to be in place please follow this procedure.

Complete a 'Request for Rule change form found on the Forms page. Email the form to the Secretary of the Rule Committee. The committee will discuss the merits of the proposal, may ask for more information and, if the concur, will send to the Executive for their approval and implementation.
